A Grey Day Haiku

It’s a very grey day here… it’s supposed to snow starting later this afternoon.  Usually I like grey days since they seem to positively impact my creativity.  But not today.  I think I’m depressed by the lack of progress on my new studio space.

So, how about a rather melancholic haiku?

Dolly snow flies new
alone and cold meets the mud
old mud wins today

There are some days where old mud must win. Hang in there.

    Yum. Hametashen.
    Apricot. Cherry. Berry.
    Don’t eat them all, please.

    Once wet, mud transforms
With vision, hands, glaze and fire
    old sludge becomes art

Love it, David! Hope your studio gets moving, though.

Old mud can suck you down.
You were creative on this grey day by writing a haiku.

I wish you luck with your financing.
I am sure to be facing the same issues next year.
