Elementals – Coast No. 6

Last week I finished a new Elementals painting that I started in January while on the Oregon coast.  This painting is about color and further exploring the principles of dynamic symmetry (the rectangular shapes are all measured precisely based on dynamic symmetry proportions).  What do you think about the shapes and colors?

This is a surprising work. I have to keep looking at it to process the overlaps. I love it when artwork makes me look twice!

This is interesting. I love the colors and long tall, bars. Definitely visually appealing.
