Oregon Coast Winter + Alex Grant = New Art

This week has finally brought some weather other than sun to the coast.  Really makes me want to create and I’ve had a few 14-hour painting days.  I’ve also been listening alot to one of my favorite Denver pianists, Alex Grant.  In particular, I love his Evening’s Last Light CD.

My view earlier this week… makes me focus on my work.  Really, it does!

David, your work is wonderful. I think I was in Denver shortly after you were greeted by snow in Oceanside (ours rarer, yours deeper!), but am back home in Oceanside now, and understand why you came to paint. And can’t resist the agates. Warm wished from a cool coast.
