I thought I’d share one of my favorite perennials that shows up as inspiration in my art… whether it is my Cupid’s Dart notecard image or the perfect lavender-blue color that I love so much. These are from a clump growing in our back garden. I transplanted them last year and was afraid they wouldn’t come back this year, but they did!

David,
These flowers are beautiful and I just love the color. I hope they are still there when I visit.

I agree with Joan. The color is what making this flower an exceptional one. When you look at it, it makes your feeling cool. Well, that is what I feel every time I look at it. LOL. Thanks for sharing this photo. I will try growing these kinds of flowers in my garden.
